About Us

Henschke Out Of School Care Inc

Henschke Out of School Hours Care Inc (HOOSHC) was established in 2011. The service is a not for profit entity established by a group of Henschke Catholic Primary School (HCPS) parents who were all in need of care for their children out of school hours due to work and study commitments along with Assistant Principal Sandra Gunning. The Governing Committee is comprised of parents who utilise the service and a HCPS representative

Henschke Out of School Hours Care Inc (HOOSHC) aims to provide a happy, safe and caring environment for primary school aged children in the local community. We believe in providing a fun, supportive environment where everyone feels welcome. We encourage the children to have an active role in planning and evaluating the program at HOOSHC, with our practices underpinned by the National Quality Framework (NQF) for school age children “My Time, Our Place”.

I think the educators provide a safe and happy environment. I also truely believe it is great value financially and has always set out to provide quality care at the most cost effective price without compromising safety and well-being. I have never had an issue with accounts and find the financial and account aspect very well run. I also like the emphasis on continuous improvement and focus on providing the best possible experience for children and their families.
